Description of Position

Assistant Program Director/Lead Clinician is a highly motivated Master's level, independently licensed practitioner with professional boundaries and exceptional clinical and organizational skills. Position provides clinical and administrative supervision to LPHA clinical staff, including LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, and LADAC-1 licensed individuals. Individual in this role provides training, reviews documentation for clinical and rehab option requirements, produces reports, ensures timeliness of client interaction and new referral processing, implements evidence-based practices, and performs data collection, report production, and program evaluation. Lead Clinician provides support to MCO Liaison as needed to coordinate care for ACCS-enrolled client with MCOs and MBHP as necessary.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision, consultation, and support to Clinical Staff, and clinical supervision to LADAC staff and Integrated Team staff;
• Participate in the selection of Clinical Staff, manage performance, and implement corrective actions for staff to meet performance standards;
• Review Clinician referral enrollment and orientation processes to ensure timely procedures that use screening tools to address risk, safety, and other immediate needs of clients;
• Ensure that Clinical Staff maintain professional and accurate documentation and provide feedback, education, and monitoring of assessments, treatment plans, and revisions of treatment plans;
• Provide consultative supervision to Clinical Staff on development of individual and group interventions;
• Train staff in teaching, modeling, and evidence-based skill building modalities;
• Collaborate with staff to support case and summarized assessment presentations at Integrated Team, Leadership, and DMH meetings;
• Provide training and consultation regarding clinical issues, procedures, and techniques from evidence-based and promising practices to enhance skill development of staff;
• Attend, participate in, facilitate, and/or lead meetings and/or trainings with internal and/or external stakeholders as assigned;
• Provide group and individual supervision and maintain a record of supervision;
• Collaborate with and support Program Director and assist with supervision and training of other program staff as needed;
• Cultivate relationships and communicate as needed with other providers, stakeholders, treatment programs and facilities to enhance communication internally and externally;
• Participate in the ACCS program’s utilization review and management process for Quality Assurance;
• Pursue advanced training and maintain competencies in Human Rights, Dual Diagnosis, CPR, First Aid, and attend in-service trainings as related to supervisory and general job responsibilities;
• Perform other duties as assigned by agency or program leadership.

Requirements

Must have at least five years of human services related experience of which at least three years experience has been with the adult mentally ill population including dual diagnosis with addiction; Prior clinical and administrative supervisory experience required; Must possess good organizational skills, effective written, verbal and computer skills; Must have experience implementing evidence-based practices. Attainment of highest level of licensure in field preferred (LMHC, LICSW).

Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and submit a copy of satisfactory record of driving from the state of residence of registry of motor vehicles; Must complete MA and ADP Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) process; Must have computer literacy as related to the requirements of the position; Must be flexible with hours to support ACCS Clinical Staff who may meet with Persons and their Natural Supports outside typical business hours.
