Description of Position
Community Counseling of Bristol County is seeking a full-time Program Director for the Behavioral Health Supports for Justice-Involved Individuals (BH-JI) program. The BH-JI program provides care management and reentry navigation services for individuals who are involved in the justice system. Individuals will work with our team on transitioning into living a safe and productive lifestyle suited to their needs.
The Program Director will be responsible for the oversight of all program administrative functions. Monitoring program performance through direct supervision of staff as well as review and analysis of data markers to guide strategies that ensure program goals are met. Represents organization with outside agencies, payers and referral sources. Supports goals of senior management in all interactions with internal and external customers.
Requirements
A minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field along with 3 years of behavioral healthcare experience. A combination of exceptional knowledge of community resources and organizational skills is a must. Supervisory and program management experience is desired, particularly experience in a community based program. Candidates must have a clear understanding of the challenges facing incarcerated or recently released individuals as they re-enter their communities.
