Description of Position

Southeastern Massachusetts Behavior Health Center seeking a Facility Manager responsible for the overall maintenance and operations of all owned and rented facilities.

Seeking someone with a wide range of experience, including:
  • Coordination of multiple contractors and vendors (communications, copier and IT)
  • Facility maintenance to assist maintenance staff and coordinate with outside contractors when needed on tasks such as:
    • Carpentry
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical
    • Painting
    • Locksmithing
    • Painting
    • Phone Systems
  • Monitor and maintain building security systems, HVAC systems including preventive maintenance schedules
  • Plans and implements moves and relocations
  • Assists with IT plans and improvements
  • Minor computer maintenance and upgrades
  • Hires, trains and supervises maintenance and cleaning services
  • Assists in planning and coordination of renovation projects
  • Conducts safety and building compliance inspections
  • Maintain Fixed Assets including lease vehicles schedules
  • Participates in facility related licensing and certification processes
  • Liaison with Landlords and City Building Officials
  • Follows and maintains approved site budgets

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years relevant experience in office operations and building management
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications
