Description of Position
Community Counseling of Bristol County is seeking bachelor’s level candidates to work in our In-Home Therapy (IHT) and Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) programs. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply, as well as applicants with an understanding of early child development.
- This is a full time 40-hour position, Monday through Friday
- Some evening hours are required, weekends available if interested (but not required) and a flexible schedule
- Therapeutic Mentors (TM) provide one to one service to address daily living, social, communication and emotional regulation skills with children ages 7 to 21 in community settings
- Therapeutic Training & Support Counselors (TT&S) work as part of a team with an experienced clinician to provide intensive, trauma-focused family therapy and 1:1 support to children ages birth to 21
- We offer a collaborative team approach that values self-care.
- Receive weekly reflective individual and trauma-informed group supervision from a licensed clinician
- Receive training on trauma, family systems, early childhood mental health, safety planning and emotional regulation skills
- Create your own schedule that allows for the flexibility to pursue graduate school
- CCBC has adult and children’s programs that provide a variety of Master’s level internships
- Provide services in the greater Taunton/Attleboro area

- Starting salary $40,000 base plus

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
- Preference for Bilingual staff (Spanish) and staff with early childhood experience
- One year of experience working with children and families; volunteer and internship experience will be considered
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- The candidate must possess good organizational skills, as well as effective verbal, written and computer skills.
- Proficiency with computers including ability to use or learn to use an electronic health record system, audio-visual communication technology (Zoom), and use of Microsoft Office suite for emails, internal document access, and organization.
